Yes, we are open by appointment only, as we hold private fittings to give every bride the 1-1 experience. We also do not allow browsing when an appointment is underway.

We have a recommended seamstress who works alongside us, She is called Betty and is located in otley. Betty has over 10 years of bridal alteration experience and is absolutely amazing at what she does.

Walking into a bridal boutique is an exciting time, so here are our top recommendations on what to bring.

• Your trusted friend or family members whose options you value, who will tell it to you strait, and who can best help you work through your decision.

• Nude Coloured underwear and it is up to you whether you want to wear a bra or not, however it does look better without as all gowns have built in bra cups.

• Most Importantly! An Open mind.
  

It is advisable to book in for your wedding dress alterations as soon as you have bought your dress and have a wedding date! Your first fitting takes place around 8 weeks before the big day, with final fittings arranged up to 2 weeks before the wedding date. We realise not all weddings are planned years in advance so if you are looking for a quick turnaround please do get in touch.

Gowns take at-least 6-9 months to arrive and then 8 weeks for alterations.

Our designers also have a rush service so if your wedding is sooner than 6 months time this is not a problem unless your wedding is next month! LOL.

Its always best to allow your self 12-18 month to take the pressure off and be able to find the one without having to rush in to saying yes.So giving yourself this time will ensure you that you find your perfect gown!

Our sample gowns are sizes from 6-24.

Wedding gowns are not high street sizes so please don’t be disheartened if you are a size bigger or 2 as this is normal when it comes to wedding gowns.

When you come for an appointment at darling brides we will first welcome you in introduce our self’s and offer you a brew. Then we will have a chat to work out your bridal story, if this is your first appointment we will find you your best style of wedding gown.
We aim for you to pick 4/5 gowns and when we have more of an idea on your body shape we will then pick out a few wild cards for you.

Wedding Dresses sometimes have no hanger appeal so please be open minded when we pull out gowns for you.. You never no it may just be the ONE!

We require 60% deposit at the point of ordering and then the remaining balance is due 12 weeks later, This can be made via telephone or via online banking. once your gown is then ready it will be shipped direct to us.
You will then be notified of this via text or email.

12 - 18 months is the suggested time, wedding dress shopping is such a special experience, you don’t want to rush it.
